Each bedroom contain everything you need, and the freedom to add those finishing touches to make it truly feel like home.
In each room you’ll find:
- A single bed
- Study desk and chair
We provide a mattress protector, sheets, a pillow and pillow cases, and ask you to provide your own doona and cover. Sheets are washed and rooms cleaned weekly.
Each floor features two communal bathrooms, and each bedroom is located within close proximity to one or both of these.
Mannix College provides our residents with 20 meals per week in our Dining Room, catering to individual dietary requirements and allergies.
On most days residents are provided a hot breakfast, followed by a 2 course buffet lunch, afternoon tea, 2 course dinner and finally, supper. On the weekends, brunch is also available.
A typical day’s menu may consist of Bacon and Eggs for breakfast, Chicken and Mushroom Penne with Salad and Fresh Fruit for lunch, Raspberry and White Chocolate Muffins for afternoon tea, Chicken Parmigiana and Creme Brule for dinner, and a selection of slices for supper.
We can also provide access to sandwiches making facilities and late dinners in the event University classes clash with our meal times.
Residents also have access to fresh fruit, salad bar and hot and cold beverages.
Hart Academic and Spiritual Centre
The Hart Academic and Spiritual Centre is named after The Most Reverend Denis Hart DD, the current Archbishop of the Catholic Archdiocese of Melbourne. Completed in 2015, the Centre features St. Dominic’s Chapel, Mannix Boardroom, Gathering Commons, Reflective Courtyard, as well as the Sir Michael Chamberlin Library and a number of tutorial spaces.
